Celerium’s Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Kevin Harding recently attended the HIMSS DFW Meet the Board Summer Social, an opportunity to connect with healthcare technology leaders from across North Texas and discuss the evolving cybersecurity challenges facing healthcare organizations.
While the event brought together a large community of healthcare technology professionals and industry vendors, the biggest value came from the conversations.
One of the highlights was connecting with a healthcare leader from CHRISTUS Health whose career has spanned more than two decades of clinical systems implementation, including leading Epic deployments and now serving in an Associate CIO role. The discussion reinforced a challenge Celerium continues to hear across the healthcare industry: electronic health record (EHR) systems remain among the most critical applications hospitals operate, and organizations need greater visibility into how these environments are protected.
The conversation also validated Celerium's continued focus on helping healthcare organizations strengthen security around their most mission-critical systems while reducing operational complexity.
Although time didn't allow for every planned conversation—including reconnecting with contacts at UT Southwestern—the event created new opportunities to continue those discussions at upcoming HIMSS gatherings.
